Getting Started
Setup in 5 Steps
Create Your Parent Account
Go to to create your free account. Enter your email, create a password, and verify your email address. Only parents and legal guardians may register — this is required for COPPA compliance.
Find Your School District
Enter your zip code to unlock your District Guide. TheKidsAI will show all gifted and advanced placement programs available in your area, including eligibility criteria and assessment schedules.
Add Your Child Profile
From your parent dashboard, click “Add Child.” Enter your child's name and current grade (Kindergarten through 12th grade). You can add multiple children to one parent account during beta at no extra cost.
Run your first beta diagnostic
Start the 10–15 minute adaptive diagnostic. TheKidsAI adjusts question difficulty in real time — mapping your child's current abilities across math, reading, and reasoning domains to identify strengths and focus areas.
Review Your Personalized Prep Plan
After the diagnostic, TheKidsAI generates a customized learning plan: target assessments, a skill roadmap, and a daily practice schedule — all tailored to your child's profile and district's programs.
Install on your phone (PWA)
TheKidsAI BETA works well on phones when saved to your home screen. During beta, install help and premium-equivalent access are both included free.
iPhone & iPad (Safari)
- Open TheKidsAI in Safari.
- Tap Share, then choose Add to Home Screen.
- Confirm the app name and tap Add.
- Launch it from your home screen for the full-screen app experience.
Android (Chrome)
- Open TheKidsAI in Chrome.
- Use the Install prompt or the browser menu → Install app.
- Approve the install when Chrome asks for confirmation.
- Open from your app drawer or home screen for faster phone access.
If you dismiss the install prompt, you can always come back to Help → Install on your phone and follow the same steps manually.
The diagnostic adapts in real time, so don't worry if some questions feel too hard or too easy — that's by design. It helps TheKidsAI pinpoint your child's exact skill level as accurately as possible.
